Playing a scale is one thing, but playing a scale musically and melodically is what will set your playing apart. We'll take a look at some devices you can use to give life to your solos.
I’ve been a fan of Myles’ style of playing for a while so this was a fantastic opportunity to pick his brain and find out his unique approach. He’s really open to questions and suggestions and usually covers a couple of key topics per session. These last three sessions have probably given me enough to work on for the next year at least and demystified some tricky issues like diminished shapes and flourishes.
Awesome class - Myles has a great approach that mixes bringing in your taste and ear with theory to unlock the fretboard. Looking forward to continue learning with him as I practice more.
